MakerVault is available for macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and later. Windows support is planned for v1.1.

  1. Visit makervaultapp.com and click Download.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  3. Drag MakerVault to your Applications folder.

When you first open MakerVault, macOS may show a security prompt since the app was downloaded from the internet. Click Open to proceed.

MakerVault creates a local SQLite database at:

~/Library/Application Support/com.makervault.app/makervault.db

All your data stays on your computer. Nothing is sent to the cloud.

RequirementMinimum
OSmacOS 10.15 (Catalina)
Disk space~5 MB for the app
RAM256 MB

The app is lightweight thanks to Tauri’s native webview architecture. It uses your system’s built-in WebKit instead of bundling a browser engine.

MakerVault includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card required. After the trial, you can purchase a license to continue using the app.

MakerVault checks for updates automatically. When an update is available, you’ll see a notification in the app. Updates are downloaded and installed in the background.
