Installation
MakerVault is available for macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and later. Windows support is planned for v1.1.
Download
Section titled “Download”- Visit makervaultapp.com and click Download.
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile. - Drag MakerVault to your Applications folder.
First launch
Section titled “First launch”When you first open MakerVault, macOS may show a security prompt since the app was downloaded from the internet. Click Open to proceed.
MakerVault creates a local SQLite database at:
~/Library/Application Support/com.makervault.app/makervault.dbAll your data stays on your computer. Nothing is sent to the cloud.

The app is lightweight thanks to Tauri’s native webview architecture. It uses your system’s built-in WebKit instead of bundling a browser engine.
Free trial
Section titled “Free trial”MakerVault includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card required. After the trial, you can purchase a license to continue using the app.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”MakerVault checks for updates automatically. When an update is available, you’ll see a notification in the app. Updates are downloaded and installed in the background.
