Auto-Detection
When you paste a purchase URL into a file’s source section, MakerVault automatically detects which marketplace it came from.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Paste a URL like
https://designbundles.net/product/my-bundle-123. - MakerVault extracts the domain (
designbundles.net). - It checks if a source already exists for that domain.
- If yes, it auto-selects that source.
- If no, it creates a new source from the domain name (e.g., “Designbundles”) and selects it.
Supported patterns
Section titled “Supported patterns”Auto-detection works with any URL. Common marketplaces include:
| Domain | Auto-created source name |
|---|---|
designbundles.net | Designbundles |
creativefabrica.com | Creativefabrica |
etsy.com | Etsy |
creativemarket.com | Creativemarket |
You can rename auto-created sources to whatever you prefer in the Sources settings.
Manual override
Section titled “Manual override”Auto-detection only sets the source if one isn’t already selected. If you’ve already chosen a source for a file, pasting a URL won’t change it.
